POC-4 Series: Medical-Grade Multimodal Computer Series​

The POC-4 Series is a series of medical-grade point-of-care (POC) terminals aimed at clinical rooms, medication management, laboratories, and pharmaceutical manufacturing applications.

The series of medical PCs currently features two models: POC-421 (21.5”) and POC-424 (23.8”). These new compact medical computers come with a 12th Gen Intel® Core™ Processor that enhances the graphics and connectivity.

The most important feature of this All-in-One medical PC series is the modular design, which allows the system to be interchangeably integrated with four peripheral modules, providing the world’s first multimodal medical computing solutions.

With its modular back cover, POC-4 can switch to different CPU modalities of various sizes and functions. This flexible configuration and compliance with relevant healthcare regulations reduce equipment development and installation time for a faster time-to-market while minimizing maintenance costs and optimizing operational workflow.

To ensure strict hygiene control in aseptic/sterile hospital environments and patient safety, POC-4 Series fanless medical computers are environmentally sealed in a specially designed plastic enclosure that supports regular sanitization with a variety of disinfectants and sanitizing agents. Thanks to the smooth compact design, you can save installation space and have better infection control.

To ensure safety and stability, Advantech’s POC-4 Series is compliant with MDR 2017/745, IEC/EN60601-1 and IEC/EN60601-1-2 medical safety standards for electrical devices and they can also be upgraded to IP65-rated protection from water and dust ingress to ensure reliable operation, easy cleaning and extended service life.

POC-4 Series can support various single sign-on solutions as a Smart Card Reader or Dual Frequency RFID module. RFID module qualified by Impriviata, a leading provider of authentication in the Healthcare industry.
